Milbon Co., Ltd. is provided with private information in a variety of cases, including for the collection of requests and opinions from its customers, the creation of statistical data, the management of information provision and seminars by the company, product development, manufacturing, delivery, postage, employment, personnel management and the management of other company services. 1.Definition of terms

5.The management of private data
Milbon Co., Ltd. carries out security measures, etc., in order to prevent damage such as the loss, misuse or alteration, etc., of the private data that it manages. Private data is kept in storage under the implementation of security measures with full attention paid to safekeeping.
6.Supervision of data management contractors
When necessary for business reasons, Milbon Co., Ltd. may consign the handling of private data to an external contractor. 7.Change, correction, deletion and cessation of use of retained private data
Milbon Co., Ltd. may change, correct, delete or cease to use retained private data in order to make efforts to ensure the accuracy of retained private data and that retained private data is up to date.
Furthermore, in the event that there has been an application from a customer for a change, correction, deletion or cessation of use of their retained private data, after confirming the identity of the applicant and implementing the appropriate content check and survey, Milbon Co., Ltd. will process the data in accordance with the content of the application based on the check and survey results.
8.The disclosure of retained private data
In the event that there has been an application from a customer for the disclosure of their retained private data, after confirming the identity of the applicant, Milbon Co., Ltd. will disclose all of the retained private data in question apart from secret matters related to information on product development. In addition, although there is currently no charge for handling fees for disclosure, Milbon Co., Ltd. may set such a charge in future.
9.Confirmation of identity
In the event that there has been an application from a customer for a change, correction, deletion, cessation of use, or disclosure of their retained private data, Milbon Co., Ltd. will confirm the identity of the applicant.
Please understand that a period of hours or days may be required for such confirmation of identity.
10.Confirmation of a proxy
In the event that there has been an application from a customerユs proxy for a change, correction, deletion, cessation of use, or disclosure of the customers retained private data, Milbon Co., Ltd. will confirm the details of the proxy described in the letter of proxy orally or by mail and will also confirm the details of the proxy with the customer.
