What I felt during the judging process was that there were many very creative pieces that expressed a sense of freedom and colorfulness in their own unique way, aligning well with the theme.Especially in the student category, there were many works with regional characteristics, which made the judging process quite interesting.
As I work in fashion styling and as a fashion designer, I always emphasize the importance of overall harmony.
This time, I focused on that aspect in my evaluations.I was inspired to learn through this DA-AD- that so many hair designers are actively involved.

Over the past two years, there were many works that skillfully utilized space, but this year, portrait works have taken center stage. I could really sense that everyone was striving to improve the shapes and quality of their hairstyles. I also believe that it’s important not only to express the world of hair, but also to freely and boldly express the theme, copy, and space.
When I create my work, the most important point I keep in mind is to "never forget to have fun."
Since artwork lasts forever, I’m sure the applicants have taken pride and poured love into their creations.
Regardless of being a senior or junior hairstylist, age, or nationality,
I hope everyone continues to submit their works with excitement and joy, expressing what they most want to convey.

The submissions were all highly polished, not only in terms of hair quality but also in the creation of a cohesive world view that reflects the concept, along with thoughtful screen layouts. The difference between the winning pieces and those that narrowly missed out was extremely close.
There were also more works with a high level of originality, and I was truly inspired by everyone's creativity.
As for the student category, there were many impressive works that rivaled those of professionals, and I could really feel your energy and potential. On the other hand, I noticed a number of entries with similar styles, so I encourage you all to freely express your individual personalities.
The youthful vibrancy of the works was energizing. Please continue to challenge yourselves in the future!

I had the honor of serving as a judge for this event. I work as an art director, primarily creating advertisements, and my job involves developing visuals within the constraints of copy and target audience.
Because of this, I always emphasize the importance of viewing things from a broader perspective and maintaining objectivity. Within that framework, I strive to create visuals that resonate with people's hearts.
This was my first time judging in such a capacity, and I found it incredibly refreshing to see your new sensibilities, which was also an educational experience for me.
    Thank you very much!
