1. 1.Only salons that handle Milbon products may apply. 1 to 2 people are able to participate.
2. 2.The model must be 1 female.
3. 3.Please make the size of the application 2L (127 mm x 178 mm).
   It can be positioned in either portrait or landscape format.
4. 4.The work in the application must be an original work that has not appeared in general or industry magazines.
   It is also prohibited to use the work in the application (despite any differences in angle, pose or clothing) to apply for other contests, or to reuse it in a general or industry magazine.
5. 5.Multiple entries are allowed. However, it is prohibited to have multiple applications for the same section with the same model. Doing so will make all the works ineligible for selection.
   Using the same model in the application is only allowed if it is in a different section.
6. 6.Works that fall outside the required size or application sheets that have missing sections (including the signature) will be deemed ineligible for selection.
7. 7.The work in the application may be published on our company’s media (advertisements, websites, pamphlets etc.) without prior consent from the applicant,
   so please only apply after having agreed to this with the model.
8. 8.Please note that the work in the application cannot be returned.
9. 9.The work will be disqualified even if a breach of the requirements is discovered after the selection. The presentation of the educational support fund and award plaque will be canceled.

Announcement

1. 1.The finalists will be announced on this website on Thursday, May 16.
   * Finalists will be informed separately about the Milbon DA-AWARD- 2019.

2. 2.The DA of the Year as well as the Designer Awards will be announced as part of the Milbon DA-AWARD- 2019 that will be held on Tuesday, July 9.
   * Scheduled to be streamed live on Biyoshi Doga (Beautician Movie)
3. 3.The final selection results with be published on this website on Wednesday, July 10.

Supplementary Prizes

DA of the Year (1 from each section)

The DA of the Year will be decided through the careful consideration of all the guest designers.
A 300,000 yen educational support fund (including the designer award) and trophy will be presented.

Designer Award

The designer award will be presented to works that are most favored by each of the guest designers.
A 100,000 yen educational support fund and trophy will be presented. * Even if a designer wins multiple designer awards, they will be awarded 100,000 yen for each work.

Other

Milbon will bear the cost for the transport fee (for 1 person) for finalists to participate in the Milbon DA-AWARD- 2019 (held in Tokyo).
However, this is only valid for round-trip ticket costs between major airports (or bullet train lines between major stations).
