DA-PHOTO- WORKS
Online application for DA-PHOTO WORKS- make challenges much easier for designers, regardless of age and career, and it is an event to support designers on their continuous improvement in sensibilities through design creation.

- Only stylists from salons carrying Milbon may apply. (Multiple stylists from each salon may apply.)
- Only online applications are accepted.
- Only one entry per category can be entered per person. Multiple applications to the same category are prohibited.
- One female model
- Data format: JPEG only
- Size requirement: A4 (Aspect ratio 3:2 or 7:5 is also possible) At least 1,800 pixels on the long side, and it can be either in vertical or horizontal position
- Image size: Min. 1MB and max. 10MB
- All design works will be reviewed on iPad 2019 (7th Gen) with Retina display
- The work submitted must be created by the applicant himself/herself.
- Submitting an entry that plagiarizes or imitates other people's photographs, paintings, artworks, costumes, etc. is prohibited.
- Submitting an entry that is likely to be a human rights violation discrimination, or defamation is prohibited.
- Socially inappropriate entries or works that are found to have violated rules will be excluded from application, removed from publication, or disqualified based on the decision of the administration.
- Entries must be original works that have not been published in general or industry magazines.
- Duplicate entries (even if it uses different angles, poses, or costumes) for other competitions and diversion to general and industry magazines are prohibited.
- Since entries may be posted on our media platforms (advertisements, websites, pamphlets, etc.) without the prior consent of the applicant, please submit your entry only after obtaining permission from the photographer and model.
- The copyright of the entries shall belong to Milbon Co., Ltd. We are not responsible for any issues related to image rights or copyrights.
- We reserve the right to disqualify entries before and after selection, including cancelation of monetary prizes and awards, for any breach of rules.
- Entries will remain on the website until the start of next year's application period.
ONE DA of the Year among the finalists (from each category) will be selected through thorough examination by all guest designers, and will be announced at the DA-AWARD on the 7 July (Wed). Winners will receive an educational support fund of 300,000 yen (including designer award) and souvenir.
Among the finalists, works that have moved the heart of each guest designer will be selected to receive the designer award, and will be announced at the DA-AWARD on the 7 July (Wed). Winners will receive an educational support fund of 100,000 yen and a plaque.*In case of repetition in the designer award, each design work will still only receive 100,000 yen
Works that have passed the final selection which is known as final nominated works, and works recognized as regional outstanding works will be announced on our website on the 16 June (Wed). The publication period will last until next year, before application is once again open
We plan to announce the finalists on Milbon Digital Arena on the 15 June (Tuesday). Details will be announced on our website.

- * A new "Entry registration" has been set up to prevent missing confirmation of work application. Please note that those who have not completed the entry within the entry period will not be able to submit their work even before the application deadline.
